Research Programme in Arabic
RIIFS Research Programme in Arabic focuses on the study and documentation of all subjects related to RIIFS’ fields of interest in Arabic. This programme includes different research projects in Arabic language related to RIIFS’ areas of interest, such as interfaith and intercultural dialogue, citizenship, human rights, human dignity, Oriental Christianity and Christian-Muslim relations, among others.
Its annual academic journal, Muqabasat Hadariya, features essays and articles that explore religious, cultural, and civilizational issues in Arabic.
The RIIFS online quarterly publication, Al-Nashra, provides summaries of RIIFS’ activities, including lectures, seminars and conference papers, as well as press articles authored by HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal on various topics.
In addition to RIIFS annual publications in Arabic, the institute issues different expert studies, training manuals and papers.
Research Programme in Foreign Languages
RIIFS Research Programme in Foreign Languages focuses on the study and documentation of all subjects related to RIIFS’ fields of interest in different foreign languages, mainly English, Spanish and French. Through different projects and with the help of RIIFS’ researchers, interns and visiting scholars, the programme includes different research projects on different topics.
Its annual publication, the Bulletin of the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies (BRIIFS), is an academic peer-reviewed journal refereed by internationally known scholars. BRIIFS is intended to provide a venue for interdisciplinary academic inquiry into all fields of humanities and social sciences that bear on cultural or civilizational interaction and to situate cultural contact in a global context.
In addition to RIIFS annual publications in foreign languages, the institute issues different expert studies, training manuals and papers in English, Spanish and French.

 Dr. Amer Al-Hafi – Academic adviser at the Royal Institute for Inter-religious Studies. – Ph.D. in Islamic Religion and Sciences; – Specializes in: studies in religion, Islamic faith and sects, Islam and contemporary issues, current Islamic world, science of hadith, Islamic culture and Sufism. – Languages: English, Arabic and Hebrew. |
Visiting Scholars Program
RIIFS further invites scholars, on a selective basis, from Arab countries and abroad, as visiting research associates, to involve them in the work of the institute.
Internships Program
RIIFS also targets students and researchers from different backgrounds interested in religious and interfaith studies to participate in an unpaid internships program which offers interdisciplinary activities related to the different lines of its research. The program allows students to acquire practical experience through attending the different events organized by the Institute such as conferences, debates, lectures and training programs and workshops, in addition to the research experience.
