The independence of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan came to complete the building of a Hashemite Arab state, through which the hopes of free Arabs for a state that owns its own decisions and aspires to shape the future of its people will be fulfilled.
Independence also came as a continuation of an Arab renaissance project, which was founded in the last century on the principles of nationalism, freedom, unity, independence, equality, and progress.
God has blessed me to live all the years of independence to this day and to witness the meanings of independence growing year after year, paving the way for work to place the human being at the heart of the equation of human dignity.
