Dr. Tagreed Odeh, director of the Royal Institute for Interfaith Studies, together with the principal investigator, Dr. Ismael Ghananim, welcomed his excellency José Ulises Lescure, ambassador of the Republic of Panama to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, during his visit to the Institute. He was accompanied by Ms. Widad Al-Husseini, from the Embassy of Panama.
During the meeting, both sides explored ways of cooperation and reviewed the Institute’s activities and programmes, particularly in the areas of religious and cultural dialogue, emphasizing the importance of strengthening ties with Latin American countries. Discussions also focused on the shared visions of Jordan and Panama, emphasizing coexistence, mutual respect and the role of constructive dialogue in addressing contemporary challenges.
