A Royal Visit to Rome and the Vatican City Concludes with H.R.H Prince El Hassan accompanied by H.H Princess Sarvath

H.R.H Prince El Hassan bin Talal, accompanied by H.R.H Princess Sarvath El Hassan, concluded a visit to the Italian capital, Rome, and the Vatican City, in which H.R.H participated in a series of intellectual, religious, diplomatic and academic meetings.

These meetings reflected Jordan’s active role in international dialogue and highlighted H.R.H prominent position as one of the world’s leading advocates in preserving human dignity and promoting a culture of pluralism and understanding between nations and religions.

H.R.H met His Holiness Pope Leo XIV in the Vatican City, reflecting the depth of the historical relationship between Jordan and the Holy See, and their shared belief in the importance of Consolidating the values of compassion, justice and mutual respect, especially in the context of the world’s current humanitarian escalation conflicts, in addition to moral and cultural divisions.

The meeting occurred on the margins of the 8th Joint Conference of the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue and the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies, entitled ‘Compassion and Human Empathy in the Modern Age’, attended by a leading group of religious, intellectual and academic persons from around the world.
