A training workshop entitled: “Religious Tolerance and Peace”

Under the title “Religious Tolerance and Peace”, the Royal Institute for Inter- Faith Studies held a training workshop in Amman over the course of three days. in cooperation with the Open University in The United Kingdom, and within the “Retopea” project, funded by the European Commission, the workshop targeted Jordanian university students and a number of young refugees.

The workshop relied on the methodology of producing short documentaries entirely made by students, with the first day included sessions of an interactive dialogue on the topics of diversity, culture, dialogue and religious tolerance, focusing on the Amman Message as an example. The students visited the city of Salt, on the second day, to film clips that contained interviews about the religious tolerance that the city reflects clearly. The workshop concluded on the third day with the preparation, directing, and presentation of films produced by the students. It is worth noting that the workshop was held in eight European countries, which is the first time it was held in an Arab country.
