Professor Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Alexandria Library, received a message from His Royal Highness Prince Hassan bin Talal on the occasion of his appointment as Director of the Library of Alexandria. His Highness stressed the importance of the role of the Library of Alexandria in spreading Arab culture, and its ongoing efforts in documenting and preserving human heritage.
The meeting, which was attended by Dr. Renee Hattar, Director of the Royal Institute for Religious Studies, discussed areas of supporting cooperation between Jordanian institutions interested in heritage and culture and the Library of Alexandria, and how to benefit from the library’s capabilities and role as a pioneer in spreading culture and knowledge, Arab and international.
