Royal Institute Director General Meets Vicar of the Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa for the Greek Orthodox Church

As part of her participation in the meetings of the Steering Committee of the Network of Centres for Christian-Muslim Relations (NCCMR), Dr. Tagreed Odeh, the Royal Institute for Interfaith Studies Director, held a meeting with Bishop Damaskinos Al-Azrai, Vicar of the Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa for the Greek Orthodox Church, in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The meeting included discussions on opportunities for joint collaboration between the Institute and the Patriarchate, and a review of the role played by the Royal Institute for Interfaith Studies in promoting Islamic-Christian dialogue through its regional and international programmes, initiatives and events.
They also discussed opportunities for developing collaboration in the areas of interfaith dialogue, building institutional partnerships and exchanging expertise, which would contribute to strengthening the values of mutual understanding and respect
