RIIFS recently hosted a group of American students from various universities as part of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities’ Middle East Studies program. The program aims to provide students with a better understanding of the Middle Eastern cultures and religions, with a particular focus on Islam. During their visit, the students had the opportunity to meet with researchers and trainees at the Institute, as well as with students from Al al-Bayt University. RIIFS Director, Dr. Rene Hattar, RIIFS Director provided an overview of the various programs and activities offered by the Institute. Dr. Amer Al-Hafi, RIIFS Academic Advisor, gave a lecture on Amman Message and the image of Islam, followed by a deep dialogue and Q&A session where the students had the chance to ask various questions related to the topic of the meeting.
