The Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies is dedicating a special number of BRIIFS to publish the proceedings of the Conference “Non-Muslim contributions to Islamic Civilisation Heritage”, which was held in Amman, Jordan on 14th February 2024, organised by #RIIFS and #IFPO with the support of the French Embassy in Amman.
RIIFS and Caritas Jordan organised a seminar on “The Spiritual Values of Fasting”, in which Dr. Rami Naffa and Prof. Amer Al-Hafi participated.
His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Institute for Interfaith Studies, has participated in the VI Colloquium organised by RIIFS and the Vatican’s Dicastery for Inter-religious Dialogue on the theme “Creative Commonalities between Christianity and Islam”.
RIIFS recently hosted a group of American students from various universities as part of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities’ Middle East Studies program.
In celebration of the World Interfaith Harmony Week, the Faculty of Sharia at Al al-Bayt University, in collaboration with RIIFS, hosted a seminar on “Challenges Facing the Contemporary Family”.
In collaboration with the Thai Embassy in Amman and El Hassan Youth Award, RIIFS organized a two-day trip during the World Interfaith Harmony Week.
As part of its staff capacity-building program, RIIFS provided a session on self-development to its employees.
Roberto Rodriguez Hernandez, the Ambassador of the Mexican Embassy in Jordan, visited RIIFS to learn more about the institute’s programs and events.
Jorge Alejandro Tagile Canelo, the Ambassador of the Embassy of Chile in Jordan, recently visited RIIFS to learn about the institute’s programs and activities and to explore opportunities for cooperation and partnership between the two entities in the field of promoting dialogue and cultural activities as part of the “Arab-Iberian-American Divan for Thought and Cultural Exchange” program.
As part of the Anna Lindh Programme, RIIFS conducted a “Strategy Development” workshop. The objective of this workshop was to train various network members from diverse civil society organizations and different governorates on how to develop a strategic plan for their respective organizations in order to achieve their goals.
